Keep Safari visible and the phone plugged in. Keep Awake does not enable background uploads. Disable it when you finish testing.
How to test interruption recovery
- Upload a small file. Open it in Drive and check its name, size, destination, and contents.
- For another test, reload only after recording the completed result and choose a different, larger video.
- While uploading, tap Pause. Confirm progress stops, then tap Resume / Retry.
- Briefly disconnect the network and reconnect. If cellular remains available, turning off Wi-Fi alone may not interrupt the upload.
- Watch for retrying, or tap Resume / Retry if retries were exhausted. If authorization expires, reconnect Google with the same account and resume.
- Confirm the completed video plays and only one copy exists for this test. Record the displayed Drive file ID before and after interruption.
Do not use your whole library. This is an upload protocol test, not the finished batch uploader.
